Santa Claus Game

Christmas is an important Holiday in many families. Here is one easy to build game to help the child understand Santa Claus and gift giving. It can also be a great opportunity to include one of the child’s favorite theme to motivate him to play.
Game 1: Simple gifts distribution
Targeted goals :
-Term to term correspondence
-Symbolic play

Material: -Game board with sidewalks
-A little Santa Claus
-A little sleigh
-Small gift boxes or cubes with ribbon
-House shaped gift box
-Decoration (Trees, fences, etc)
How to play:
-The player moves Santa from house to house, dropping 1 gift in each house, using the hole in the roof.

Game 2: Distribution of gifts according to the number of children in each house.
Targeted goals:
-Counting
-Symbolic play

Material: -Gameboard with sidewalks
-A little Santa Claus
-A little sleigh
-Small gift boxes or cubes with ribbon
-House shaped gift box
-Decoration (Trees, fences, etc)
How to play:
-The player moves Santa from house to house. He drops as many gifts as the number indicated at the door of each house.
